Story:

Ashwant (Jiiva) is working with a Tamil daily news paperNetiVaartha’ as a
photographer; he is very reliable dedicated to his job. He is very noted in his office for his craze over very different and daring pictures. Renuka and Saro are journalists working in the same office. Renuka is working as an investigation journalist who had earlier worked with very sensational news.

Andhra Pradesh elections are announced. Two major party heads are current Chief Minister Yogeswaran (Prakash Raj)and opposition head Kota (Kota Srinvas Rao). They are doing everything to win the election, including giving money to the voters, bribing the electorate and rowdiesm. This is the time when Ashwin and Renuka’s articles happen to create a new force, Vasanth (Ajmal) – a Telugu youth also an engineer who accepts and have trust in true and clean politics, who wish to see a change in the society.

Bomb blasts occurs in a huge youth election campaign of Vasanth. Ashwin along with his teams comes out with huge media support to Vasanth and he wins the elections. But something much unexpected was waiting for everybody.

Performances:
  • Jiiva is cool, suave, stylish and unblemished in the role. Kota Srinivasa Rao and Prakash Raj add more weight age to the film. Pia Bajpai is youthful, bubbly and suits her character to perfection. Karthika performed her role with ease and élan. She looked beautiful and especially in songs both Jeeva and Karthika looked as a perfect pair. Ajmal is a perfect choice to play an aspiring politician his looks, build and dialogue delivery elevates the character he plays.
  • Dialogues are the plus points in this movie. Outstanding music by Harris Jayaraj and he mesmerized the audiences with his wonderful tunes. Except the song ‘Enduko Emo’, none of them are situational. The second half is dragged with unwanted songs.
  • Cinematography by Richard Nathan is too good. Editing by Anthony is appreciable.
  • Director K V Anand directed the film in his own pace and also added all real life instances which are engrossing, entertaining and racy.
  • Nice to bollywood stylish Special Guest appearances in Aga Naka song by Surya,Karthi,Tammanah,Jai,Shiva,Bharath,Harris Jayaraj,Rima Kallingal,Anuja Iyer,John Vijay,Jayam Ravi,Sanjana Singh,Peter Hein,Etc…

Pros:
  • Cinematography
  • Direction
  • Ajmal
  • Jiiva
  • Photography

Cons:
  • Placement of songs in second half

Survi Verdict:

Director KV Anand who was previously worked as a photo journalist has made this film amidst high expectations and with extreme care. It has every ingredient of an entertainer – a juicy premise, a good star cast, foot tapping music and of course interesting foreign locations. First Half, of the movie doesn’t have any substantial ingredients and despite the slumps in narration, the film manages to engage only during second half. Overall, Rangam impresses, entertains and is likely to click with all kinds of audience.
I Recommend It.

Chaithanya’s “A 100% Love” (Telugu)

  • Film: 100% Love
  • Starring: Naga Chaitanya,Tamannah Bhatia
  • Director: Sukumar
  • Producer: Bunny Vasu
  • Banner: Geetha Arts
  • Music: Devi Sri Prasad
  • Watched: Prasadz screen 1,Hyderabad

Survi Review : 6/10

Story:

Balu (Naga Chaithanya) is an intelligent Engineering student and always aims to be the college topper. Maha Lakshmi (Tamanna) is Balu’s sister-in-law joins in the same college to pursue her studies well. Maha Lakshmi astonishes everyone in the college by getting top rank in the college and from than Balu and Maha Lakshmi become good competitors in studies. Here comes a character Ajith who also gives both of them a tuff competition in studies.
In order to divert Ajith from getting college 1st, Maha Lakshmi proposes him and diverts him from studies. In this turn Balu gets top rank in the college. As both of them are closely related, Balu and Maha lakshmi’s elders decide to do their marriage. But in one situation Maha Lakshmi praises Ajith and this irks Balu and asks her and her father to get out from his house. Will Balu change his mind and asks them to come back? Are Balu and Maha Lakshmi really in love? Is Maha Lakshmi initially in love with Ajith? Will they get married separately? How Balu gets close with Maha Lakshmi later forms the crux of 100% love.

Performance:
Naga Chaitanya shows vast improvement as an actor. He is very controlled and handles the complex role with ease and sincerity.
Tamannah as Mahalakshmi tried getting into the skin of the character role designed for her. She aids the film with her admiring performance to a large extent.

Kids have scored well with their roles. Naresh does a neat job.. Anand, KR Vijaya, Vijay Kumar, Naresh, Dharmavarapu, MS Narayana and others are apt their respectable roles.

Devi Sri prasad’s music, as usual, will remind you of every other movie of his, but is irresistibly hummable.

100% Love’ is rich in visuals with an effective background score and first-rated dialogues which sound fresh to the ears and elevate the emotional scenes considerably.

Screenplay of the film is good, but seems to have become little contrived towards the end. Direction of the film is partly good. Taking is excellent. The director successfully narrated a thin storyline with nice visuals in the first half. But could not sustain momentum in the second half.

Geeta Arts production values are extraordinary.

Plus:

  • Naga Chaitanya – Tamannah Chemistry
  • Cinematography
  • Music By Devi Sri Prasad
  • Dialogues
  • Entertaining 1st Half

Minus:

  • Predictable Second Half
  • Choreography

Survi Verdict:

100% Love is a routine story with few different elements and the execution is little different too. But nothing holds your interest. Bloopers keep popping here and there and it is clearly visible.100% Love starts off entertaining; even the pre-interval portion keeps you glued to your seats with its comedy sequences and fresh dialogues. But the pace gets really slacked in the second half. The writer should have thought of a better way to culminate the story in the post-interval portions. Some scenes could have been easily deleted for it serves no purpose in moving the story ahead. Overall, Worth a Watch Movie for its Entertainment and Chemistry between lead pair.

Story:

Movie starts off with backdrop of Egypt with a person bringing Sonu Sood’s head and handing it to Sonu’s wife Puja Bedi. In order to demolish India and take Shakti Peetham’s in control which is Sonu’s aim, Puja Bedi trains her elder son as a cruel man. Aishwarya (Ileana), who is the daughter of Central home minister (Prabhu) escapes to Jaipur for a trip with her friends. Prabhu safeguards the Black diamond which was given by Nazar, later he leaves to foreign in search of a gangster (Jackie Shroff) for asking him the Rudrashulam, which the latter denies. Unknowingly, Ileana carries the black diamond in her bag and Puja Bedi’s men tries to attack her for the sake of grabbing the diamond from Prabhu. In this regard Shakti (NTR), who is a guide, saves her from the goons and Ileana falls for him. Here comes a twist, where NTR discloses that he is an NSG Commando secret agent. What is the story behind the black diamond and Rudrashulam? How does Shakti safeguards the Maha shaktipeethams and kills the demons? Is the crux of the story.

Presentation:

Well, if I want to talk about the performances of the artists, a single man deserves all the applaud and praises, Jr.NTR. It seems as if he decided to get into the skin of the character. Ileana justified her role but could have been better. She followed exactly what director persuaded her to do. Nassar is one who’s away from his desk this time, and he does well. Pooja Bedi fits in her role. Sonu Sood looks like a proper Egyptian and he gave a satisfactory performance. Other artists like Ali, Prabu, Vinod Kumar did a good job. Bhramanandam and Jakie Shroff were wasted. Songs by Mani Sharma are good but the background score failed to lift the momentum in Second half. Cinematography by Sameer Reddy is the biggest asset for the film. Direction & Screenplay by Meher Ramesh cannot be applauded as the treatment given to the movie is not satisfactory. Production values were high standards. Dialogues by Satyanand are unimpressive.

Plus:

  • Junior NTR
  • Ileana
  • Cinematography
  • Songs
  • Art

Minus:
  • Screenplay
  • Direction
  • Editing
  • Fights
  • Choreography
Verdict:

First half of the film is OK. Interval bang is interesting. The second half is dull. The flashback episode – that is supposed to justify the title of film – could not evoke the right emotion. NTR disappoints with wrong choice of subject for ‘Shakti’. Skip It in theatres

PS: #SHAKTI - ‘O’range Rod idhi O baby, Torture Epudu Chudandi, Please don’t dare ani kehtha hai yeh ‘Survi’.. ;)
